Peter M. DeCurtis graduated from Connecticut College in 2000 (Cum Laude). He then attended the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School where he served as vice-president of the Student Bar Association. After he graduated in 2003 Mr. DeCurtis was admitted to practice in Connecticut later that year. The following year he was licensed to practice law in the State of New York and began working for our firm as an associate. In 2010 he was elected a partner. He handles all aspects of the defense of workers’ compensation claims from inception to settlement. Mr. DeCurtis has argued before the Appellate Division Third Department on matters dealing with workers’ compensation and coordinates the firm’s Appellate Department. He is a member of the New York Self Insured Association, the New York Claims Association and the Long Island Claims Association.
