Ricardo A. Baez graduated from St. John’s University (Magna Cum Laude) in 1980 and from St. John’s University School of Law in 1983. After graduation he was employed by the Wausau Insurance Companies representing it assureds before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. He joined the firm of Weeks, Corn, Stewart, et al and remained an associate until 1988, when he became a partner. Mr. Baez has argued before the Appellate Division, Third Department, in the defense of workers’ compensation matters and in the First and Second Departments regarding the defense of personal injury matters. After 40 years with the firm, Mr. Baez is currently of counsel and assists with the firm’s practice in the areas of the defense of personal injury actions, Medicare Set Asides, and subrogation, arbitration and lien recoveries issues.
